Sample sounds are private previews. Other people in Discord cannot hear them until the bot is connected.
A QUICK WALKTHROUGH
The website is your remote control. Your cloud-hosted bot plays the sound in Discord.
Open Connection. Enter your bot service’s HTTPS address and your private control key. This key is separate from your Discord bot token.
Invite the bot to your server. Join a regular voice channel using the Discord account configured as the bot owner. Select that server here and press Join my channel.
Choose Add sound, give the clip a name, and upload an MP3, OGG, or WAV up to 10 MB. Clips are trimmed to the first 30 seconds. The board holds 100 clips.
Press a card’s Play in Discord button. The small headphones button previews privately on this device. A new sound replaces the previous sound.
Check that the bot service is running over HTTPS, the control key matches, and ALLOWED_ORIGINS exactly matches this website’s address. Use the production website address, rather than a changing preview address. For voice errors, check the bot’s permissions and outbound UDP support on its host.
